| Serendipity was a fishing cottage that was completely remodeled, including rewiring and plumbing, in 2005. It sits 150 feet above Keuka Lake on a gently sloping lot: you can drive your car right to the door. Access to the lake and private dock is down a private driveway, across a small frontage road, and down a 17-step stairway with railing. It's heated and air-conditioned for seasonal comfort. It has cable TV and a DVD player, high-speed internet connection, smoke and CO detectors, full service for 8 (plates, dishes, utensils), bed and bathroom linens, and a Weber gas grill. There is no local telephone connection but cell phones work. Clothing may be washed and dried in a laundromat 6 miles away in Hammondsport. | ||||
