Golf:  There are two 18-hole "local" golf courses - one just south of Penn Yan, the other in Bath. Both are 14 miles from Serendipity.  There is also a 9-hole golf course just up the hill from Serendipity on 230.

Museums:  The Glenn Curtiss museum in Hammondsport features early aircraft and motorcycles; the Corning Museum (www.cmog.org)  in Corning NY is a world-renowned glass museum; the lesser known Rockwell museum (www.rockwellmuseum.org), also in Corning, features western and native American art.
